ooooooh I really loved this Danish Island called Bornholm! I had never been here before… just love finding new places and discovering more while on vacation!
We took a giant catamaran (actually the largest in the WORLD!!!) from the harbor in the village we live… all the way to Bornholm with Farmor & Farfar for the day!
the smokeries in Scandinavia are amazing! The best smoked fish you will ever have!
we then went to this amazing Fort on the coast… it’s so interesting when you go to these old old places… imagining battles being fought… people losing their lives… people conquering… it’s so fascinating! I tried to explain to our oldest about history… I don’t think we’re quite there yet… she’d rather climb the crumbly brick wreckage instead with her little sister!

breathtaking really! The air up here… on this beautiful island was so crisp…!
There were so many more things to see on this big island… always nice to leave things for when you come back…
