my birthday was everything I wished for… magical
not only did I wake to the giggles of our girls helping make me breakfast in bed… I pretended to sleep and tried so very hard to not giggle myself… but after I was sung to so beautifully by our girls and Pappa… had a beautiful breakfast… presents… an orchid… and my amazing family at my side….. then… just then… my girls made me a tea party. oh it was exquisite… we were very fancy ladies and held our pinkies just so…
a little free play is just a present enough… watching the girls play make believe is magical in itself… I love the little things they say… the sharing.. the working it out… the giggles… they way they wiggle the little figurines and walk them about… oh pretend play is serious stuff… and I am so thankful that our girls can pretend!
waiting for a table at a nice place downtown for brunch… this great restaurant had such a brilliant idea… sidewalk chalk to keep the kids busy while waiting to be seated… the girls loved it!
then we went to the Marina park… oh what a day… a blanket in the grass… a sunny sky…
she is loving her scooty bike! really loves it! weeeeeeee!!!!!! (thanks Uma & Umpa!)
then home for quiet/nap time… rest up a bit for a nice dinner … my parents (Uma & Umpa) came over for a nice dinner…. Isabelle made me a heart dark chocolate cake!
