Monks!!!

this was really something! I was so glad that I took our oldest girl to see this magical exhibit our town had….

Tibetan Monks came to our town… it’s really a fascinating experience to be close to such simpleness… such a life… they spend close to a week working so hard on these beautiful pieces and then at the end they release them into the bay… it makes you realize that you shouldn’t hold onto material things… they are just things… release them… you feel so free……

They are maybe the happiest people ever… I think it may be because they don’t have so many material things … nor want them… it’s beautiful…

it was a great little experience for Isabelle… We like for our girls to be exposed to many different religions, cultures, people. I love when she asked me questions… such as “why do they wear dresses, Mamma?” It’s important for children to see so many beautiful people and things that make this world what it is. We’re not the only people in this world and I really hope that my girls take that with them in life….. We hope they never judge someone for the color of their skin, or the clothing they wear…
