cooking with our hearts…

the spring must be my favorite time of year…. I love all of the birds singing to us and all of the butterflies dancing throughout our garden… and that blue sky that always is above us and the sun smiling down as we make so many memories here in this beautiful life…….

I think that all of our meals are ate outdoors these days… something about this weather that we know we are so lucky to have and we have to indulge in it’s presence all that we can…….

we love this meal so much! Lemon Shrimp Linguini! It’s a recipe from my Mama and I have made it so many times that I don’t even read a recipe for it… My husband (Pappa) always says to just look over a recipe but never ever follow it… you have to cook with your heart and feel what you need in the recipe…. “those who read a recipe don’t cook with their hearts… but more so with their brain” … it’s actually true… It’s how I cook now and it makes the experience so fun and there is so much passion in our meals… and well… if you have a glass of wine while doing so, it makes it even better! 🙂
