we love broccoli around here! us grown ups eat the entire tree but the sweet girls only eat the leaves… as we have after dinner clean up, we always giggle at Isabelle’s plate… a bunch of broccoli stems left over…

ice cream anticipation… waiting so patiently for me to scoop for she was in charge of piling on the goodies… sliced bananas and lots of strawberries, chocolate, and whip cream! perfect way to spend a Saturday with the Grandparents!

each night of the week after we have baths and are cozy in our jammies we try to do something fun … sometimes it’s puzzles, other nights we have music instruments, painting, but we always looooove train night! it’s just for a little bit and a tiny bit before story time begins. We love it and so do the girls! a nice time to spend time with each other and wind down after a busy day perhaps. I usually find myself sitting back and watching my little pumpkins… usually noticing how long Isabelle’s legs are getting, admiring Cecilia’s dark blue eyes… it’s a nice way to actually truly enjoy them with all our hearts…..

this morning at breakfast time I noticed our oldest girl lining the edge of her plate so carefully with strawberries… then she ate them one by one… then she had a few left over and she made little houses (she told me) I asked who they were for… she said, “they’re for the fairies…” love their little imaginations
